PROFILE OF THE PRINCIPAL

Mrs. Lydia Kanyo Hiamey Hafoba is a Ghanaian nurse educator and the principal of Nurses’ Training College, Pantang. She served at Ho government hospital before pursuing further nursing training in midwifery from 1989 to 1990. With a strong focus on psychiatry, her special interest lies in the realm of aging, senility, cognitive impairment, and associated conditions. Mrs. Hafoba has been deeply involved in mental health education for over 28 years, driven by her extreme passion for the field. Witnessing mentally ill or handicapped individuals recover and attain optimal health while contributing to society, brings her immense joy and satisfaction.
